GEZE named one of the top 100 most innovative medium-size German companies for the tenth time
GEZE remains a top 100 innovator in the German medium-sized sector. For the tenth time, the specialist for innovative door, window and safety technology has received the coveted award, given out by the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Vienna University of Economics and Business as part of the top 100 awards.
The award is both a recognition and motivation
The employees of GEZE are proud of the tenth award as Top 100 of the most innovative medium-sized companies.
“We are proud that, in 2023, the year of our 160th company anniversary, we are once again one of the top 100 innovators in the medium-sized sector” says Marc Alber, Chief Officer Product Development & Operations at GEZE. “The seal is one of the most renowned and important prizes given out to medium-sized companies in Germany, and is proof of our strong innovative capacity. It is a wonderful recognition for our employees, who have been working on our common vision to create the liveable buildings of the future for 160 years”. At the same time, he says the award is motivation for GEZE.
We set ambitious goals for ourselves, especially in terms of the quality, durability and sustainability of our products. We also take the title, ‘Top 100 Innovator’, as a challenge that we need to continuously live up to, in order to fulfil our customers’ high expectations - or better yet, exceed them.
Marc Alber, Chief Officer Product Development & Operations at GEZEExcellent climate for innovation impresses the prize jury
GEZE impressed the jury in the 2023 competition with innovative technologies and solutions for reliable fire protection and state-of-the-art building automation. The medium-sized company from Leonberg near Stuttgart also received high marks for its excellent climate for innovation. “At the TOP 100, the question is what role the innovation target plays within the company” explains Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke, Scientific Director of the competition. “Do routines and habits dominate the landscape, or is the company able to question existing practices, rethink ideas creatively, and assert itself successfully on the market? We analyse these capabilities based on over 100 assessment criteria”.
